Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 15 oz. Lentils or Black Beans optional
  • 1/2-3/4 c. Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • Salt & Pepper To Taste
  • 8-12 Tortillas flour or corn
  • Toppings of Your Choice

Equipment

  • 1 Skillet
  • 1 Plastic Spoon

Method

  1. To get started, you will need to brown the ground beef in a medium sized skillet. (You could also cook up chicken or beef roast how you like, and shred into the skillet.)
  2. Once the beef (or other meat) is cooked, add the lentils or beans, if using, and seasonings over the top, and then pour the water over the top. You will want to make sure to add enough water that the spices mix easily.
  3. Mix thoroughly, and let simmer until the water evaporates to a small amount left in the bottom of the skillet.
  4. Scoop a quarter to a third of a cup of the seasoned meat into your tortilla and top it with whatever toppings you would like. Then roll up and enjoy!
